One of the most renowned Punjabi singers/actor Gippy Grewal recently got arrested for defying the weekend lockdown that was imposed due to the Coronavirus pandemic in Patiala. The actor was carrying out the shooting of his upcoming Punjabi film along with the other crew members in a village named Banur.
According to the police, their team arrested the entire crew when they were continuing the shooting in the agricultural fields. They asked them to show the permission documents for doing the shoot during the lockdown. However, Gippy and his production team failed to show the documents.
Gippy Grewal revealed that they asked for permission but the request is still pending and they were carrying out the shoot by following all the safety protocols. The police released the entire crew on bail after some time of their arrest. The DSP informed that when they reached the location, almost 100 members were present there for the shoot.
