The much-awaited romantic drama of Guri and Raunak Sharma titled “Lover” finally hit the theaters. The fans have a lot of expectations from this movie which it didn’t fulfill, but it still turned out to be a treat. The melodious & soothing music and commendable performances made this film above average.
The film revolves around the character of Lally who is madly in love with Heer. Lally is willing to do anything and everything in order to get his love. The love story was going smoothly until the couple was separated. The separation made Lally a heartbroken lover. The movie was also a bit slow and quite predictable at some points.
Both Raunak and Guri nailed their performances. Music can be said to be the best part of Lover. It has tracks from the legends like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Nooran Sisters, and Atif Aslam which made its album even more special. Overall, Lover is not a masterpiece but it is not very bad either and it definitely deserves a watch.
